Back in 2002, the smutty rap single Bad Babysitter almost made a Princess Superstar, well, a superstar. When that failed, Concetta Kirschner flicked the charts a V, turning out deliberate non-hits like Fuck Me on the Dancefloor. With My Machine, the toilet humour's been replaced by bold imagination on a 25-track futuristic concept album. Tracks like, Sex, Drugs & Drugs highlight her ability to drop a stormer, and it's also funny as hell, bringing much-needed with to the occasionally po-faced electro scene. 4 stars (out of five) - Ben Long |
