Time Out Review of My Machine

As Princess Superstar, Concetta Kirschner first swaggered into earshot with the single 'Bad Babysitter', a hilarious down n' dirty tale about what her hand was really doing when it was supposed to be rocking the cradle. Her style? A bass-pumped hip pop/greasy electro funk that was one part Buffalo girl, two parts Beastie Boys. Now, on her fourth LP, the Princess sets her ever-sharp, savvy and dazzling deft ryhmes against sci-fi funk grooves, cheesy pop, disco and old-school hip hop. Her 'machine' still shifts maximum booty, no denying.
