Bust Review of Strictly Platinum

Concetta Kirschner is the Princess of Pilfering, rapping her way through Strictly Platinum. Princess Superstar is Beck, Beastie Boys and Sonic Youth all rolled up in one; with a nod to pop culture items like Alex Trebec, David Lee Roth, and James Bond, and sample snippets of Yoko, Fugazi, Terminator X, Billy Squier, and Rick James (to name just a few), Princess Superstar allows one a peek into what "too much information" really means. And Concetta is pretty funny - her description of living on Clinton St, while all too real ("all over my apartment are cockroaches"), definitely does not leave you feeling bleak.
